About SkyUp Airlines

Established in Ukraine over seven years ago, SkyUp Airlines expanded its operations in 2023 by obtaining a Maltese Air Operator Certificate. This certification enabled its subsidiary, SkyUp MT, to operate regular flights within the European Union.

In April 2025, SkyUp resumed scheduled passenger flights from Chișinău to 13 European cities, including Paris, Lisbon, and Berlin. The collapse of Air Moldova in 2023 created a market opportunity, positioning Chișinău as a strategic hub, especially for Ukrainian travelers.

SkyUp’s BER–Chișinău route further strengthens its European network while enhancing connectivity between Germany and Moldova. The airline prides itself on its passenger-focused approach and reliability.

Looking forward, SkyUp plans to grow its European routes and anticipates resuming flights within Ukraine once airspace conditions permit. CEO Dmytro Seroukhov highlights the airline’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s economic resilience and reconnecting displaced Ukrainians with their homeland.
