Eurowings will introduce a new ‘Premium BIZ’ business seat on its A320neo flights between Berlin and Dubai. The seat will be available for booking starting August 2025, with service launching in November 2025.
Following this debut, Eurowings plans to roll out the premium seating concept on other longer medium-haul routes in autumn 2025.
As a Lufthansa Group low-cost subsidiary, Eurowings is trialing this premium product ahead of any other group airline, none of which currently offer premium seats on smaller narrowbody aircraft.
While Eurowings operates more cost-efficiently than other Lufthansa airlines, its unit costs are not as low as those of other European low-cost carriers. The introduction of a premium product signals Lufthansa’s interest in expanding Eurowings beyond the traditional value segment.
