As summer heat waves drive dreams of snow, United Airlines is responding with new seasonal nonstop flights from Dulles International Airport to popular ski destinations Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Vail/Eagle County, Colorado.
Starting December 20, United will operate weekly Saturday flights to both Jackson Hole and Vail, running through April 4. These routes mark the only nonstop service between the Washington, DC area and these sought-after mountain resorts.
United already offers nonstop flights from Dulles to other top U.S. ski locations, including Denver and Salt Lake City, as well as seasonal service to Bozeman, Montana, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
As the largest airline in the DC region, United has operated its hub at Dulles for nearly 40 years and currently manages close to 290 daily flights to over 100 destinations.
In a continued investment in the region, United recently opened a new flight attendant training center in Chantilly and plans to unveil a 435,000-square-foot concourse at Dulles Airport in 2026.
