Swiss AviationSoftware (Swiss-AS) has announced that STARLUX Airlines, a premium full-service carrier based in Taiwan, has signed an agreement to implement the AMOS system to support the management of its technical documentation, particularly task cards.
As part of its digital maintenance strategy, STARLUX will use Swiss-AS’s hosting services, providing a secure and fully managed system environment. The implementation will involve 50 users and is expected to go live by late summer 2025, with the full rollout scheduled for completion within six months.
AMOS will play a key role in enhancing STARLUX’s documentation workflows, improving collaboration across departments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The system is designed to support the airline’s long-term goals for operational efficiency and innovation.
Founded in May 2018 and commencing operations in January 2020, STARLUX Airlines is headquartered in Taipei and has built a reputation for its modern fleet and high-end service offerings. The airline continues to expand its footprint across regional and international markets.
The collaboration between STARLUX and Swiss-AS reflects a joint commitment to leveraging intelligent digital tools to optimize maintenance operations. Both teams are working closely to ensure a smooth implementation process.
“To enhance maintenance management efficiency and reduce the risk of human error, STARLUX Airlines has officially adopted the AMOS system,” said the Project Team from the Engineering & Maintenance Division of STARLUX. “By leveraging this industry-leading Maintenance Information System (MIS), we aim to streamline the task card creation process and establish a structured approach to managing our Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) and OEM documentation. This will help drive greater accuracy and effectiveness in our operations.”
