Brussels Airlines Extends Tel Aviv Flight Suspension to June 22

by Grace

Brussels Airlines announced Tuesday that it will not resume flights to and from Tel Aviv before June 22 due to ongoing regional instability. The decision comes as part of an extended suspension by the Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines and other carriers such as Eurowings, Swiss, and Austrian Airlines.

The airline cited the “current security situation” as the reason for the continued halt in operations. This follows a ballistic missile attack by the Yemeni Houthi group targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Israel, which initially prompted the suspension of flights.

Passengers affected by the suspension are offered the option to reschedule their flights or receive a full refund.

Brussels Airlines confirmed it is actively monitoring the situation and will adjust its flight schedule as conditions evolve.
