Several major international airlines have extended their suspension of flights to Israel amid ongoing regional instability, with some carriers pushing cancellations well into June.
British Airways has implemented the longest pause, canceling all Israel-bound flights through June 14. Spain’s Iberia Express has suspended its service until May 31.
Air India has extended its suspension through May 25, while Wizz Air has canceled flights until May 14. Ryanair has halted operations until May 21. Among U.S. carriers, Delta Air Lines has suspended flights through May 19, and United Airlines through May 18. Italy’s ITA Airways has canceled all flights through May 18, including specific services AZ809 and AZ815 scheduled for May 19.
The Lufthansa Group — including Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings — has canceled flights to Israel through May 18. Similarly, Air France and its subsidiary Transavia have extended their suspension through May 13. Greece’s Aegean Airlines has canceled flights through May 16, while Polish airline LOT has suspended operations until May 18.
Some Airlines Continue Operations
Despite widespread cancellations, several airlines continue to operate flights to and from Ben-Gurion Airport. These include Israel-based carriers El Al, Arkia, and Israir, along with regional and international operators such as Flydubai, Etihad Airways, Blue Bird Airways, Tus Airways, HiSky, Azerbaijan Airlines, Georgian Airways, Cyprus Airways, Electra Airways, Hainan Airlines, Smartwings, TAROM, and Ethiopian Airlines.
